"Perhaps even more provocative are the acts Murphy has inserted into the PG-rated Glee. The characters Blaine and Kurt (played by Darren Criss and Colfer, respectively) were the first openly gay teenage couple to share a kiss on network TV."
Murphy’s Honor, Out Magazine

"Everyone I talked to mentioned Kurt. We didn’t go in thinking that Kurt would be a big breakout, but in the middle of season 1, we saw that he was the character everyone was talking about."
Dana Waldenrecalling the moment when she realized that Glee had become a sensation

They’re in the round of 16 against Chuck and Blair.

oopsibrokethefork:

“As Beyonce once said, (and then Kurt Hummel said even better,) ‘If you liked it then you should have put a ring on it.’ — now is your opportunity to help make that a reality for so many people.”

Quote from a pro-marriage equality rallying email sent today by the pro-choice organization, Choice USA. Props to them for a) rallying their supporters over intersectional issues and b) invoking the awesomeness of Kurt Hummel in doing so.

justilaria:

the constant flawlessness of Kurt Hummel/Chris Colfer in every episode of this season is becoming something unbearable

Oliver friendly post. You’ve been warned.

I read Oliver’s interview. He seems like a nice guy.  I’m not going to analyze everything he said to death and some of the stuff he said definitely points to him being new to Glee, new to fandom, new to interviews (word of advice: do not go on extensively about your backstory for your character in an interview. This way leads to disappointment and sadness, especially on Glee. Ask Darren).  But, he does seem like a nice guy and I like what he said about Chris and Darren.

Regarding the spoilers.  I KNEW Ryan was trolling, trolling, trolling about Come What May.  Many Klainers have suspected it.  I suspected it.  Oliver’s interview confirms it, imo.  CWM is most likely a dream sequence/fantasy (probably Kurt’s), Kurt is going to be torn about his feelings for Blaine (probably moreso than DRAWN TO Adam, if that makes sense), AND Kurt and Blaine are not going to be back together for a while still.

I am SO looking forward to how Kurt and Blaine’s stories are going to play out for the rest of the season.  I am fine with them not getting back together in 415. They need time. TIme to heal, time to just be friends again, time to grow and mature, time to experience new things (even, yes, new boyfriends maybe). At some point, either this season or next, they WILL get back together.  It’s the one thing about Glee that I am certain about.  THEY WILL GET BACK TOGETHER.  But in the meantime, I’m going to enjoy Kurt and Blaine’s journey as individuals, and together as best friends, and eventually as the love of each other’s lives.
