still the best argument in all of glee history

I Have Nothing [Acapella] - Kurt Hummel [Chris Colfer]
Wow. This is infinitely better without the distraction of a back-up band. INFINITELY.
I am not exaggerating.
I was seriously stunned.
Bravo.
okay but in 3x17 kurt sung i have nothing and ‘don’t you dare walk away from me’ and in 4x17 in against all odds baine is (presumably) going to sing ‘how can i just let you walk away’ and WOW

GLEE WARDROBE APARTMENT YOU ARE AMAZING
I can never express my undying love for their fashion department enough.
Something I meant to mention here previously and don’t think I have. Paris Barclay directed 109 (“Wheels”) which featured the first Kurt Hummel/Rachel Berry diva off with Defying Gravity. It was also the first time we really got to hear Kurt sing and is an important Kurt episode for other reasons as well.
Paris Barclay is also directing 413 (“Diva”) and I do not think it’s a coincidence that he is the one that is getting to direct Kurt and Rachel’s new diva off, “Bring Him Home”.
Also of note, the only episode he directed in S3 was 317 (“Dance with Somebody”).
My Mum’s wanted to rewatch all of Glee during this hiatus, so we’ve been marathoning today. DWS was on the roster, and this made me sad. These things feel like foreshadowing.
In “Dance With Somebody” when Burt is talking to Kurt in his room, he says, “Yes, you and I will always love each other, and you and I will always be there for each other.”
And, of course, in “Glee Actually”, with the new knowledge of Burt’s cancer diagnosis, we get Blaine saying to Kurt: “No matter what, no matter where, even if we’re not together, we’re always going to be there for each other.”
So, yeah, even more weight to add to the whole Burt passing the baton of loving Kurt into the future to Blaine.
